Perry responds to the question “What is it like to work with Melea?”
I have worked with Melea since 1992 and there cannot be enough superlatives for me to describe my time during all these years. I have watched Melea’s heart of compassion, her whit, her love of God spill out during our many conversations, during our rehearsals, our Storynights together, the times of fun, the times when our families come together over a meal, and so on and so on. The times I’ve had with Melea cannot be considered work because we are simply family now. It is difficult even to sit down and write this because what I get to do with Melea is not something that is a job or a set of tasks. It is what is able to flow out of us, together, in the midst of life itself. I have been gifted in being given the wonderful privilege of creating story with Melea
